She gives "ticket out the door" questions with google forms. Then she sorts the answers and finds who needs additional help the next day.
Her students have done some math podcasts, though not necessarily using screencasting. They sometimes filmed themselves writing with paper and pencil.
It was great to see how things worked in her class and it was also an affirmation of things we have done in a few SMS math classes.
